Our mission is to serve as a gathering place for purposeful program activities that promote a sense of belonging and connectedness, which is essential to preserving community and building pride.

Fostering Community Connection and Pride

Juneteenth

MUNPC leads the annual Juneteenth event each year on the third Saturday in June, under the leadership of Board member Robbie Dancy, to showcase local music, art, vendors, service organizations, and African-American historical pride.

Bessie Hicks Senior Program

Started in the Cosmopolitan Center, and revitalized in 2015 with MUNPC we provide adult social programs of: physical fitness, arts and crafts, bible study, jewelry making, educational events and excursions.
